CPR/AED Oct 21, 2013 10am DDO CPR level A+: DDO/West Island Monday Oct 21 at 10am. Following the new guidelines for CPR. The ‘HeartSaver CPR with AED training’ Course is the most common course taught to the general public, and is recommended for all non-healthcare hospital staff. This is the ideal course for unit coordinators and clerks, administrators, orderlies and PABs, librarians and secretaries as well as school teachers, fitness professionals, and others. This course will teach how to respond to life-threatening emergencies in the adult and child, including calling for help, providing CPR, using an AED, and relieving choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. Location: DDO/west island... exact address/room number and class details will be sent to participants. Certification valid for two year period by Heart and Stroke Foundation. - Class will be in English.
