In 2010, Jonathan Halpert and the CPR Instructor's Network was nominated for the annual ProMontreal Young Entrepreneur Award - the Promies. Award ceromony took place in November.

With the publication of new guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiac Care by the Heart and stroke Foundation on October 18th, 2010, the CPR Instructor's Network was an active participant in the webinar highlighting the changes made to the guidelines.

The CPR Instructor's Network is a leader in CPR training, and prides itself on its up-to-date knowledge. Although the new guidelines were introduced in October 2010, the training of the new guidelines will commence in 2011 only once all the instructors are updated with these changes.

The CPR Instructor's Network has been a long time supporter of the West Island Cardiac Wellness group, and was an exhibitor at their 'Walk of Life' fundraiser held September 12, 2010.

The Walk of Life is an initiative of the Cardiac Health Foundation of Canada. The West Island Cardiac Wellness group is an initiative of the Foundation of Lakeshore Hospital.

 


 

CPR Instructor's Network was an exhibitor at The Suburban's 1st annual Education and Activity Fair, September 15, 2010.

CPR Instructor Network sponsors Synchronized Swimming and Competitive Swimming at Fairview Pool (summer 2011). Located in Dollard Des Ormeaux, Fairview Pool hosted competitors and teams from numerous other West Island pools and aquatic centres.

The CPR Instructor's Network provided information on CPR and available courses at the West Island Community Awareness Day held on Saturday September 24th, 2011 at Pointe Claire Plaza (Highway 20 and St. John's Blvd.) Booths on various services, agencies and organizations that are a vital part of Montreal's West Island community well-being were on display.

Jonathan Halpert (pictured above) and the CPR Instructor Network attended the Montreal Families' annual Camp Fair, held at the Holiday Inn Pointe Claire on February 19, 2012. Mr Halpert and his team spent the afternoon promoting CPR, AED and First Aid to the camps at the fair, as well as to the parents of would-be campers.

 


 

 

 

CPR Instructor's Network sponsored the 1st annual Provincial Atom A and B Tounement, held at Fairview Park in Dollard Des Ormeaux (DDO), Quebec on June 19-24, 2012. Congratulations to the Dollard Amateur Baseball Association for organizing this event.

Jonathan halpert and his team trained approximately 15% of the population of the Township of Wentworh, Quebec (near Lachute) the lifesaving skills of CPR and AED plus what to do for choking on June 16, 2012. A fun time was had by all.

Jonathan Halpert of the CPR Instructor's Network was a presenter at the Welcome Wagon Baby Shower, held on April 15, 2012 at 'Le Living Room' on Pare in Montreal. Approximately 250 expecting and new-moms were present at this event.

Members of the CPR Instructor's Network were present on September 22, 2012 in Lachine for the 7th annual 'Cedars Cancer Institute Fuller Landau Dragon Boat Race and Festival' to support the Cedars CanSupport Program at the McGill University Health Center (MUHC). The CPR Instructor's Network was also a sponsor of paddlers at this fundraising event.

February is Heart Month. And February 2013 was a busy time for the CPR Instructor's Network. On Friday February 8th Jonathan Halpert was a guest of Ric Peterson and Suzanne Desautel (Ric and Suzanne Show) on CJAD 800AM News Talk Radio discussing CPR, AED and Heart Month. On Saturday February 9th, members of the CPR Instructor's Network were present at CanFit Pro's Consumer Fitness and Wellness Show in Montreal's Queen Elizabeth Hotel. On Sunday February 17th, the CPR Instructor's Network was in attendance at the Montreal Families' annual Camp Fair held at the Holiday Inn Pointe Claire.

The CPR Instructor's Network is often happy to help fundraising events for good causes. Two causes, amongst others, that�we heavily support�are Oncology and Autism.
