The instructor course will be held at our west island location in DDO (H9B 2N5)

To reserve your place in this course, we ask for a seventy five dollar deposit; your deposit may be paid on-line. Balance of course fees due at the start of your class.

Our class sizes are small, and we have very competitive pricing! (our fees includes the instructor's course, course handout material, supervision of first course. Does not include instructor fees/opening file with Heart and Stroke Foundation, instructor resource kit [purchased from Laerdal], nor any fees associated with BLS recertification (if required).

If your company or organization has three candidates or more wishing to become a certified CPR/AED Instructor, we will schedule a course just for your group... taught at your location or ours.

C.P.R. and A.E.D. Instructor

This course will provide the candidate with the knowledge and skills necessary to teach all Quebec Heart and Stroke Foundation CPR and AED defib courses.

This course includes teaching, facilitating, learning and assessment theory; practice teaching exercises; equipment use and maintenance; evaluation and administration.

Once a CPR and AED Instructor, you may also become a First Aid and Epi-Pen Instructor.

Instructor Courses are offered a few times a year, or, if your organization has 3 or more candidates, we will schedule a training exclusive to your group.

 

Pre-requisites:1) Minimum 18 years of age  2) Copy of recent C.V./resumé   3)Recent BCLS level C or level C+  4)Letter of intent (explain why you would like to be an instructor)

             Candidate must attend all sessions.

             Typically, the course follows this schedule:           

 

                     Wednesday ----; 6:45pm to 10pm  Introduction and Skill review

                     Saturday ----; 9:00am to 5:00pm

                     Sunday ----; 9:00am to 4:00pm

You will then be required to successfully teach a C.P.R. class of your own within 6 months of your instructors’ course, which will be monitored by your trainer. A fee will apply to additional courses requiring supervision, and to courses taught after the 6 months.

 

Course fee:           $ lowest price in town!! $ 50% deposit, due 10 days prior to course date, along with pre-requisites (balance due start of first session)  Course fee includes handout material, supervision fee, and certification as a BCLS/CPR-AED Instructor with the Quebec Heart and Stroke Foundation.

This course will be given in English, however the candidate may give presentations in French, if desired. All course fees should be payable to CPR Instructor’s Network.
